Performance
Stable does not mean slow: depending on the Flitecell battery and wing chosen, the ICON reaches up to 55 km/h top speed and over 40 km of range on a single charge. It supports your progression without ever holding you back: the same board takes you from your first flight to committed manoeuvres.

Is the Fliteboard ICON suitable for beginners?
Yes, it is the most recommended eFoil to start: its large 100 L volume makes it very stable and forgiving. Most riders learn to fly in under an hour, and a Soft Top 2 construction makes learning even easier.
What is the range of a Fliteboard ICON?
From 45 minutes (Flitecell Nano) to over 2 hours (Flitecell Explore), i.e. up to 40 km and more per charge, depending on the battery, wing, rider weight and conditions.
How fast does the ICON go?
Up to 55 km/h top speed, like the whole Fliteboard range. To take off and fly on the foil, you only need to reach about 20 km/h — the ICON being the easiest to get flying thanks to its volume.
Do you need a licence to ride an eFoil in France?
For power under 4.5 kW (about 6 hp), no boat licence is required. Ride at reduced speed (under 5 knots) within the 300 m coastal zone and follow local regulations.
What is the difference between the ICON and the PRO?
The ICON (100 L) is the most stable and accessible, ideal to start, progress and share; the PRO (67 L) is more compact, more agile and responsive, built for riders seeking performance and manoeuvres.
